Lemon Myrtle ... Backhousia citriodora, is a flowering plant in the family Myrtaceae, genus Backhousia. It is endemic to subtropical rainforests of central and south-eastern Queensland, Australia, with a natural distribution from Mackay to Brisbane. Steam distilled. Lemon Myrtle has traditionally been used for relieving chest congestion, whether in a diffuser or in a massage blend. The oil has also been known to uplift emotions as well as improving concentration. Note: Top. Strong. Ultra fresh and crisp potent lemon scent. More "lemony" than true Lemon oil.
