Peppermint ... Mentha arvensis, is a hybrid mint, a cross between Watermint and Spearmint. Peppermint Oil has a high concentration of natural pesticides, it is known to repel some pest insects, including mosquitos, and has uses in organic gardening. It is also widely used to repel rodents. Refreshing, sharp, piercing, menthol, fresh, bright, vibrant mint aroma with sweet undertones. Ideal for footcare products, offers soothing and cooling properties in after-sun formulations. Peppermint oil may reduce or relieve symptoms of IBS.
Caution: Mentha arvensis is considered more toxic that Peppermint as it has a higher Pulegone content. Avoid during pregnancy. Can be sensitising to delicate skin.
